Chutong received the Early Career Researcher Oral Prize at BIHS 2023 in Aberdeen!

We're delighted to announce that Chutong (Eunice) Zhong made a stellar impression at the British and Irish Hypertension Society (BIHS) Annual Meeting 2023 in Aberdeen last September.

After receiving the Early Career Researcher Bursary, Chutong showcased her work titled "Unravelling Hypertension Endophenotypes through Organ-on-a-Chip Culture Systems Utilising Patient-Derived Cells". Her compelling presentation captivated the audience and earned her the prestigious Mark Glover Award of this year, the top honour among the BIHS Early Career Researcher Oral Prizes. On top of a monetary prize, this award provides Chutong with the unique opportunity to present her research at an the High Blood Pressure Research Council of Australia (HBPRCA) Annual Scientific Meeting 2024 and an-all-expenses paid trip to Australia!

Chutong’s achievement demonstrates her dedication to research, her hard work and our lab's commitment to excellence.
