Mike is a physiologist and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Gent, Belgium. Working within both the FunGen lab and Tissue Engineering group, his research focuses on multiparametric characterisation of neurodevelopmental disorders using human neural organoids and other novel stem cell derived culture systems. He has been a continual collaborator of the London Tubular Centre since 2021, initiated by a six-week visit sponsored by the Company of Biologists.

His visits typically coincide with BBQs, parties and general revelries.
