We are a multi-disciplinary laboratory group of clinicians, scientists and engineers based at the UCL Department of Renal Medicine.

We study rare kidney diseases utilising molecular biology, electrophysiology, 3D cell culture, advanced 3D imaging, proteomics, spatial transcriptomics and experimental medicine. We focus on human research, using human cells and tissue wherever possible.

In addition to discovery science, we aim to translate our techniques back to clinical care.
